Types of malocclusion that we treat

Crowded teeth Wrocław - malocclusion

STOLEN TEETH

Crowded teeth are one of the most common malocclusion qualified for treatment. It occurs when there is insufficient space in the mouth for all teeth to erupt properly. As a result, teeth erupt outside the arch (e.g., one behind the other), overlap or erupt at the wrong angle.

Vertical bite Wroclaw - malocclusion

VERTICAL NAGRIS

Vertical overbite is a malocclusion in which the upper teeth overlap the lower front teeth. Vertical overbite affects the incisors, that is, the front teeth. This malocclusion makes it difficult to chew food properly and, in extreme cases, to close the mouth.

Forebite Wrocław - malocclusion

PRZODZGRYZ

Anterior overbite is the inverse of vertical overbite. It is a defect in which the lower front teeth (incisors) protrude in front of the upper front teeth. Often, an anterior overbite is associated with excessive protrusion of the lower jaw. In extreme cases, the defect results in elongation of the lower face.

Crossbite Wroclaw - malocclusion

CROSS BRIDGE

Crossbite is a malocclusion in which the lower teeth also extend in front of the upper teeth, but along the length of the entire arch. As a result, the entire upper arch of teeth is "hidden" inside the lower arch. The cause of crossbite is usually genetic predisposition, mouth breathing, delayed eruption of teeth.

Osteoarthritis Wroclaw - malocclusion

GRAY

Gaps occur when gaps form between adjacent teeth. The cause of gaps is that the erupting teeth are smaller than their intended space in the dental arch. Interdental gaps are contributed to by missing teeth and the associated shifting of teeth.

Open bite Wrocław - malocclusion

OPEN ZGRYZ

Open bite is a malocclusion qualified for overlay treatment, in which the lower teeth and upper teeth do not meet each other in a vertical plane, so that a gap forms between them. Depending on the severity of the defect, the gap between the teeth can be smaller or larger and, consequently, even lead to a deformation of facial features.
